TRIPLE ETHANOL EXPORTS.

The Brazilian sugar cooperative Coperucar, said on Monday that it is going to triple exports in the next ten years and become the worlds largest private exporter of sugar and sugar products.

Brazils booming sugar and ethanol industry, has been going through an aggressive consolidation in recent years, with cane output expected to double by 2015.

The Coop has 33 mills in production currently throughout Brazil, they will produce 70 million tons this season.

The company will turnover US$200 million this season, next year they will be in a position to buy cane from individual producers.

The companies exports will be 3 million tons of sugar and I billion liters of ethanol
