JBS-Friboi is expected to receive 20% of the new Hilton quota for 2009, according to a company spokesman.
The Hilton quota is allocated by the government and is dependant of export record and achievements, as well as reliability of the company.
While global beef and meat companies took knocks on Wall Street this week, the shares in JBS in fact went up 2%.
JBS are now the worlds largest beef processors.
