Brazil’s largest beef exporter, JBS SA (JBSS3.BR), admitted on Friday that 2009 isn’t "the right time" to buy out other companies, promptly announcing the end of a proposed U.S. acquisition. JBS said it has terminated plans to acquire National Beef Packing Co. LLC of the U.S., a $560 million deal unveiled in 2008.
