Brothers win silverware at Bishops Castle

Bishops Castle and District Quality Cattle Association awarded the Jack Bedell Perpetual Challenge Cup to brothers Philip and Michael Wood of J. A. Wood and Sons, Kinnerton.

The cup was awarded for the highest priced bunch of four or more steers or heifers born in 2009. J. A. Wood and Sons sold nine steers weighing 280 kg at £715 in a sale conducted by auctioneers Halls at Bishops Castle Livestock Market.
