Canada seeks end to beef ban
Canada is seeking a firm deadline for ending South Korea’s long-running ban on its beef, Canadian Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz said Friday.
"We’ve gotten to step seven of eight steps several times before. We’re really asking South Korea now to tell us by the end of March how we can map out a positive future," Ritz said in an interview after meetings with South Korean Trade Minister Kim Jong-hoon and Agriculture Minister Chang Tae-pyong.
