US BEEF AND CHICKEN.

For the first time in history, American beef and chicken is being sold in supermarkets in Chile.The market has been traditionally supplied by Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil, however the first shipments of US beef and poultry arrived last month.

This market has already been opened by Australian beef exporters, with over 4,000 tons of Australian beef has been sold in Chile last year.

Chile enjoys the strongest economic growth in Latin America, whilst an importer of beef and poultry, Chile is in fact an exporter of pork and fish.

Mining derives the nations main income, that has been added to with recent discoveries of gas and oil.
