FARMERS INCOMES RISE.
According to figures produced last week, farmers in China saw incomes increase by 10.3pc in the first 11 months last year.
This compares with people in urban areas, who saw a rise of 6.3 pc in their incomes.
The average farmer earned US$370 for the 11 month period.
The government of China is introducing measures to assist farmers financially, in the wake of last years earthquakes and floods.
