CLA Game Fair will be largest shooting exhibition in Europe

The CLA Game Fair, at Ragley Hall, Warwickshire, will boast the largest and most comprehensive shooting exhibition in Europe.

Shooting activities featured include: airguns, clay shooting, game shooting, pigeon shooting, rifle shooting, stalking, target shooting and wildfowling. Moreover, Gunmakers Row covers all the world’s leading gun manufacturers and retailers.

CLA Game Fair Director Andrew Crawford said: “For shooting activities shopping for guns and accessories, our show simply cannot be surpassed. There really is something for everyone who loves shooting.”

On the Friday of the show (19 July), the programme includes the John Bidwell Move Mount Shoot Lesson, Muzzle Loaders, the John Bidwell Shooting Exhibition and the Gunmakers Row Challenge. On Saturday (20 July), there are the City Shot with a prize presentation by Olympic Gold Medallist Peter Wilson and the Champion of Champions Event Semi-Final and Final. Sunday’s programme features the Colts Challenge.

On Saturday afternoon, at 3pm in the Gunmakers Pub on Gunmakers Row, the New Product Showcase will be launched to celebrate the latest shooting-related products, from beautiful tweed shotgun slips to state-of-the-art range-finding binoculars.

On the popular CLA Game Fair Clay Line, shooters can just turn up to “pay and clay” along the Line, or pick up tips from the experts in coaching sessions. Guns can be provided on the pay and clay stands for novices and experienced shooters.

For visitors who bring their own guns, a wide range of shooting competitions will be staged including the 40 Bird Re-Entry Competition, and the Platinum Overall High Gun Award to win the Famous Grouse Perpetual Trophy.
