Country Living Spring Fair Supports Farm Crisis Network

The Country Living Magazine Spring Fair is proud to have chosen Farm Crisis Network (FCN) as its affiliating charity for the annual event to be held in the Business Design Centre in London's Islington from 14-18 March 2007. The partnership will see £4 from every ticket purchased for the Fair's Gala Evening (Wednesday 14 March, 6.30 - 9.30pm) going to FCN.

"Farm Crisis Network comprises a group of volunteers with farming and pastoral understanding who provide free help to many hundreds of farmers and their families each year, when they face problems such as debt, stress, isolation or low product prices," explains Rosemary Alexander, Essex based FCN co-ordinator and volunteer. "The charity is extremely grateful for the support of the Country Living Magazine Spring Fair, and looks forward to what promises to be a wonderful event."

The Country Living Magazine Spring Fair, now in its 16th year, will boast more than 350 designers, small producers and craftspeople from across the UK exhibiting at the Business Design Centre. The event attracts thousands of visitors who enjoy the relaxed ambience and browse the best of British crafts, home accessories, unique jewellery, clothing, and homemade food and drink - away from the high street crowds.

The work of the FCN is hugely important in terms of how they help farmers to overcome difficult times, and give them as much support as they need. I hope that the funds raised from their partnership with the Fair will help the volunteers to continue to provide this invaluable service."

FCN supporters can purchase tickets for the Gala Evening at a special discounted advance rate of £9.50 per adult, by quoting the reference code 'FCN' when booking.
