Coutts and Co appoints regional Chairman for Staffordshire
Coutts & Co has announced the appointment of Karen Mercer as regional chairman for Staffordshire. In her role as regional chair, Karen will help Coutts locally to maintain strong relationships with clients, raise awareness of Coutts wealth management offerings within the business community and introduce individuals who want to learn more.
Karen Mercer is a local businesswoman, born in the 1950's into a family of farmers in Staffordshire and as the eldest of four siblings, her career remained heavily within the farming industry until her retirement from partner at Mercer Farming Ltd. Two of her three sons remain within agriculture.
Commenting on the appointment, Joanna Thornell, senior manager, Coutts Nottingham office; "We are delighted that Karen has agreed to take up the role as chairman, she will strengthen the existing and successful Regional Chairman team through her strong links to the local business community.
