Dairy mineral assessment tool launched
Alltech will be launching its latest concept for tackling the key challenges faced by dairy farmers at the Dairy Event and Livestock Show at the NEC, Birmingham, in September.
Minerva, a revolutionary new programme, uses the most recent research and development work, carried out by industry leading facilities such as Harper Adams University College.
Alltech’s Minerva mineral programme is aimed directly at the key challenges faced on dairy farms today which include maintaining animal health whilst reducing mastitis and lameness as well as fertility issues.
Alltech, which has 30 years of proven experience in improving animal performance all over the world, will be using the exhibition to officially unveil this exciting and innovative concept to visitors.
Graeme Smith, Technical Sales Manager for Alltech, explains: "Minerva is a mineral programme unparalleled in our industry and it is redefining trace element nutrition for the modern and future dairy herd.
"Due to its capabilities, we have formed alliances with some key nutritionally focused UK businesses, who will be able to use this innovative programme with their own customers.
"By working with the Minerva programme, farmers can be assured they are combating the ’big three’ problems that can arise on every dairy farm – fertility, mastitis and lameness."
