Headland Agrochemicals announces the appointment of David Shelton as UK Product Manager for its range of adjuvants and micronutrients.
Peter Botham, founder and chief executive officer of Headland, said: 'I'm delighted to welcome David to our team. He is widely known and respected in arable crop protection throughout the UK, and will play a leading role in the development of leading Headland brands.'
David Shelton joins Headland from Con Agra's Loveland Industries. He began his 30-year career in crop protection with Fisons Agrochemical Division, and
later worked for Unilever and Hoechst.
David Shelton said: 'It's a great pleasure to be joining Headland. They have one of the longest-established names in UK crop protection and an enviable reputation for product quality and customer service.'
Headland Agrochemicals was founded by Peter Botham in 1985 and is now part of Cheminova of Denmark. The company has regularly brought innovative
products to market including Fortune, the original high performance methylated seed oil which consistently outperforms straight oils at low rates.
