Defra plans extra AI meetings

Following on from the six events held in November and December, Defra are planning to run a further two regional meetings on avian influenza. These will be targeted at the two regions not covered by the original meetings.

As before, they will be run jointly with the Health Protection Agency, the Health and Safety Executive, the State Veterinary Service and the poultry industry.

The meetings will run from 2 to 5pm and dates and venues are:

31 January, Hereford Racecourse

2 February, Kent County Showground
