Direct Milk formula price rises to 30.08ppl for December

Direct Milk DPO December price delivers an increase of +1.272p per litre – and takes the Formula price back up to exceed 30p/l, for those that made early ‘sign up’ commitments from April 2014.

This providing new standard litre prices of 29.890p/l for those supplying via the Simplified & Core Formula Contract (July/Oct 2014 applicants), and 30.080p/l for Core Formula Contracts incl the April 2014 sign up +0.19p/l premium.

The next price review utilising AHDB data for November delivering the January 2017 Formula price will be its last, this following Müller’s decision to serve 12 months notice on this contract variant from January 2016.

Direct Milk DPO member’s sell their milk to Müller Milk & Ingredients via standard, retail aligned and organic contracts. Müller’s customers include all major UK retailers, milk&more, coffee shops and food service.
