Downpour delays cattle sales
Cattle sales and movements in central Queensland have been restricted due to this week's heavy rains.
Both the Sarina and Nebo sales scheduled for this week have been postponed because graziers have been unable to get into paddocks to muster stock.
Processing at Borthwicks' meatworks, south of Mackay, has been delayed by a week.
General manager Simon Stahl says the delay is a minor inconvenience to workers.
