Farmer dies in tractor incident

An investigation is under way after a 67-year-old Aberdeenshire farmer was found dead following an incident involving a tractor.

The body of Harry Emslie, a cattle breeder and show judge, was discovered beside his cab on Brae of Coynach Farm, near Mintlaw, by a relative.

A Grampian Police spokesman described the incident as "unexplained".

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is investigating and a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
