Farming show returns to huge crowds

One of the county's oldest agricultural shows welcomed back livestock on Bank Holiday Monday after the foot-and-mouth outbreak disrupted proceedings in 2007.

Edenbridge and Oxted Agricultural Show was held at Ardenrun showground near Lingfield for the 21st year, and crowds flocked to the site to welcome back the event.

Jazz bands, carousels and Punch & Judy shows accompanied farmyard animals, with pigs making a welcome return after more than two decades away.
