FCT Farmers Urged to Explore New Farming Methods

Farmers in the Federal Capital Territory have been called upon to use the opportunities provided by the FCT administration to diversify and explore new ways of farming.

Addressing the farmers recently in Abuja, the Secretary, Agriculture and Rural Development Secretariat, Alhaji Mustapha Bala Batsari, emphasised the need to feed the ever increasing population of FCT as well as improve the living standards of the farmers.

Batsari pointed out that the current food crisis globally, poses a great challenge to government, farmers and stakeholders in the agriculture sub-sector.
