Fellowship status for agricultural team

Leading regional law firm Everys, is celebrating the success of two members of their Agricultural and Rural Affairs team.
Partner and Head of the firm’s Commercial Department, Kate Stamp, and Carinna Parsons, Head of the firm’s Agricultural and Rural Affairs Team recently qualified as Fellows of the Agricultural Law Association (ALA). To date only 38 people have been awarded Fellowship status.
Kate and Carinna, have earned the right to use the letters FALA after their name after attending residential courses and taking a challenging set of exams at the end of 2010.
James Griffin, Managing Partner at Everys’ solicitors, said: " Both Kate and Carinna have many years experience in agricultural law. When they expressed an interest in gaining a formal qualification to consolidate their experience, we supported them wholeheartedly.

ALA was founded in 1975 to provide a forum for professionals serving agriculture – lawyers, surveyors, accountants, bankers, farm business consultants and others – to support each other in their specialisms.
