Fengrain appoints new Chief Executive
Cambridgeshire-based Fengrain has appointed Mark Isaacson as Chief Executive. Mr Isaacson, 39, and will take up his position mid-January.
For the past six years, Mark has been UK Purchasing Manager with Greencore Malting Group part of Greencore plc. He is currently Vice Chairman of the Cereals Committee of the Maltsters Association of Great Britain and a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
Mark, a graduate of Wye College, holds an MBA from Bath University. He started his career in the grain trade in 1987 and has held senior purchasing positions in both the milling and malting industries.
Fengrain, a farmer-owned business based in the heart of the East Anglian grain producing area, specialises in the storage and marketing of grain on behalf of its own members and a range of other businesses. In the 2003/4 season, it marketed more than 700,000 tonnes of which more than 30% was exported.

"Mark has a strong record in added value areas such as malting barley and milling wheat. We welcome him to lead the business forward on the next phase of its growth and development."
Mr Isaacson lives in Cambridge with his wife Leonie and son Max.
