Finland-Salmonella gets worse on farms.
FINLAND-SALMONELLA GETS WORSE.
The Finnish Food Safety Authority (Evira) has announced that it has found a strain of the Salmonella Tennessee bacterium at 9 poultry farms in Finland.
The statement went on to say that there was a high likelihood that all the outbreaks had been caused by a single contaminated batch of feed made by Raisio.
Evira plans to check hundreds of pig and poultry farms for salmonella, an operation that is expected to take weeks to complete.
