Forecaster sees 'bright future' for farming
The head of the nation's commodities forecaster says the farming sector has a bright future despite economic and environmental challenges.
Phillip Glyde from the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics (ABARE) addressed an industry seminar in Brisbane today.
He says the rural sector is more productive than many Australians realise.
