FRANCE - MEAT GIANT REVEIWS THE YEAR.

The French National Consumers’ Council has adopted a label signifying that met and dairy products have come from animals that have not been fed genetically modifies feed.

The label "Nourri sans OGM" - "Fed without GMOs" - was adopted after a meeting at the Ministry for Finances with representatives of "Que choisir" ["What to choose?"] and the food industry.

This label will apply to meat and dairy products.

Up until now, nothing has given a clue if animals were reared on genetically modified products.
