The Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE) is offering one year's free membership to final year students in a demonstration of its commitment to support the future of farming.
This exciting new initiative will offer students on the final year of an agricultural or related course a variety of benefits to support them through their last year of study.
As members of the Society, students will receive a quarterly magazine, online journal, monthly e-news, agri-bulletin and discounted entry to the Royal Show, conferences and visits.
Armed with up-to-date news, articles and advice, the Society aims to help busy students with their final year dissertations and coursework, increasing their opportunities and aiding their passage to employment.
Commenting on the initiative, Vic Croxson Chief Executive of Landex said: "I'm delighted that the Society is opening its doors to students. Access to information is essential to students and the RASE is able to provide a balanced and considered view. I am sure the scheme will prove to be a great success for both students and the Society".
Professor John Moverley, Chief Executive of the Society said: "This is one of many ways by which the Society seeks to support the future of our sector. Encouraging young people will be a vital part of that. Our Society is the independent voice of the agricultural and rural sector based on our commitment to science with practice. This initiative fits perfectly".
