FUTA to cultivate 10,000-hectare farm

The global food crisis is already having devastating effects on some nations, especially countries in the Sub-Sahara Africa.

One of the reasons for this looming catastrophe is that food items which are supposed to be served as dinner on tables in various homes are being siphoned into car tanks in advanced countries.

The global quest for alternative sources of energy has no doubt exposed citizens of some developing countries to hunger as what are meant to feed them are now being ’fed’ to automobiles, no thanks to bio-fuels as efforts are now concentrated on renewable energy sources.
