Germany-International praise for Australian livestock shippers.

AUSTRALIAN LIVESTOCK RECIEVES BROWNIE POINTS.

The meeting of the Animal Transportation Association (AATA) in Dresden Germany last year, commended Australia on the improvements in the livestock traveling conditions, on the new state of the art vessels currently being used.

The worlds largest livestock exporting country has vessels that can carry, 22,000 head of cattle or 120,000 head of sheep. The livestock travel in air conditioned pens, with running water and feed and normal gain weight on the long haul journeys.

The government of Australia have also invested in the countries receiving the live animals, with expertise in handling and yarding animals to avoid stress.
