As the summer season approaches Goodyear Dunlop have reorganised their Off-The-Road department promoting Mark Turner into the role of Key Accounts Manager for OTR SBU.
This national role means Mark will be working on key accounts, focusing on developing Farm, Industrial, ATV and Terra tyres with dealer customers throughout the UK. Mark will continue to run the show calendar for Goodyear Dunlop and will continue in his current role as departmental trainer for the UK.
His initial focus will be on the Farm tyre sector, with a primary objective to communicate the features and benefits of the recently complete OPTITRAC range to the end user. However, his role will eventually broaden into Industrial, ATV and Terra as well.
Andy Morris, Director of Off-The-Road for Goodyear Dunlop says: 'Mark has been a valuable asset to the Farm tyre division for a long time and is exceptionally well-connected in the Farm tyre market throughout the UK. In this new role Mark will take the Off-The-Road business to new levels by strengthening relationships with our key accounts.'
Mark brings with him extensive experience across the business joining the company 16 years ago working as Truck Tyre Specialist, Consumer Business Development Manager and in the Service Department of the organisation. He has worked in the Farm tyre division for the last 7 years as Farm Tyre Specialist for the North and brings with him to the new role in-depth knowledge of the Farm tyre market.
'As market leaders in Off-The-Road tyres in the UK I'm looking forward to driving forward the business in Farm, Industrial, ATV and Terra tyres' says Mark. 'With a strong presence in OE, a strong, experienced team of Off-The-Road Tyre Specialists coupled with the most complete and advanced tyre range on the market the future looks good for the OTR division at present.'
