Grainfarmers agree deal

Aberdeen Grain has appointed Grainfarmers to manage its store and market its members' grain from December 1. The co-op buys more than 30,000t a year from its 120 members, who also use its 30,000t store at Whiterashes, near Aberdeen. Grainfarmers will appoint a new regional general manager to be based in the Whiterashes office. Grainfarmers managing directorTim Potluck said the arrangement provided an excellent operating base from which to grow Grainfarmers' Scottish business.
