Grainmarque and Samco & Shrim Farmers to continue marketing with Fengrain

Two important suppliers of grain to leading East Anglian grain marketing specialist Fengrain - Grainmarque and Samco & Shrim Farmers - have endorsed their commitment to the Fengrain group by renewing and extending their marketing contracts.

The news has been welcomed by Fengrain Chief Executive Mark Isaacson: "We have enjoyed good relationships with both these farmer groups and I am delighted that this will continue. Under the new agreements both groups recognise the added benefits to their members in forming a consolidated marketing company. This is a great vote of confidence in Fengrain."

For Grainmarque, Chairman Charles Course said that the decision was largely due to the progress made by Fengrain in implementing initiatives and longer term strategies, which his members believed were important. The high quality of service and assistance provided to the Grainmarque group and all its members was also acknowledged.

Commenting on the recommendation to its membership, Samco & Shrim Farmers Chairman Jane Schwier said: "We feel that Fengrain will offer the very best grain marketing service for our members. Fengrain's personal approach and attention to detail has become the benchmark in the industry."
