Helping you choose clover-safe: Press information from United Phosphorus

With clover-inclusive grass leys increasingly seen as the more cost effective alternative to expensive fertiliser inputs, United Phosphorus have launched a new booklet for their Clovercare range to make identifying clover-safe herbicides easier.

Chris Hepworth of United Phosphorus comments that it is really important to get treatments right. "Some herbicides not only damage clover, but can completely kill it off, so opting for clover-safe products is paramount," he says.

The 10-page booklet covers the range of clover-safe solutions such as Alistell that will control significant weeds, including chickweed, dock, redshank and a range of broad-leaved weeds.

A new updated Grasscare brochure has also been launched, covering other grassland products for leys that do not include clover.
