HSBC Agriculture to sponsor Cereals Event in a further 3-year deal

The Cereals Event organiser Haymarket Land Events is pleased to announce that HSBC Agriculture is to continue as principal sponsor of the event. Their commitment for a further three years illustrates the value industry-leading organisations place on their involvement with Cereals, the premier business event for arable farmers.

Martin Coward, Agriculture Director for HSBC said: “Our survey of farmers at Cereals 2006 shows that the industry is still facing unprecedented changes. We know farmers need information, guidance and advice to understand the implications of these changes.

“Cereals provides an excellent source of such ideas and initiatives. HSBC are pleased to continue as Principal Sponsor to enable us to demonstrate in a tangible fashion our own continued support for the industry."

“HSBC’s support of Cereals fits perfectly with the event’s ethos of bringing farmers and the trade together to specifically do business,” says Dominique Gill, Managing Director of Haymarket Land Events “Our research confirms farmers are investing in their businesses this year, with a 7% increase in the number of Cereals visitors placing orders at this year’s event compared to 2005.”

Next year’s Cereals event will be held at Vine Farm, Wendy, near Royston in Cambridgeshire on 13th and 14th June 2007.
