PRICE INCREASES.
The producer prices of pigs rose 16.7% in the first 11 months of the year 2008, followed by an increase of 28% in the month of November alone.
Cattle prices went up 7.3% for the first 11 months of the year, followed by an increase of 12% in the month of November.
Poultry prices went up by 16.7 % for the first 11 months and up by 24% in November.
Milk went up by 15.3 % for the first half of the year, then hiked up 24.5% in November.
This amazing surge in prices in November, has placed the farming industry of Hungary in a state of confusion.
Eggs had a similar pattern by increasing 15.3% for the first 11 months of the year, then 16.9% in November.
However inflation on crops was steady at 8.3%.
