HORSE MEAT FOR Xmas.

One of the first and worse hit countries in the global recession was Iceland. According to a report in the local press, there were unprecedented sales of horse meat this year as people could not afford poultry or beef.

The 320,000 people living in the country, who only have 5 hours light a day at this time of the year are facing a wintry economic blast, after a decade of really high life boom times, according to the report.
