THIRD LARGEST BEEF EXPORTER.

India has rapidly become the worlds third largest exporter of beef, after Brazil and Australia, the trade is growing at an amazing rate.

Buffalo meat is the flavor of the month, with 2.7 million tons produced in 2008, of which 850,000 tons was for export to mainly South East Asia.

India is giving Australia and Brazil a run for their money in terms of price, as the buffalo beef is far more competitive than the fore mentioned countries ox beef.
