India-Contaminated meat kills six people.

INDIA-At least six people have died after consuming meat of Siberian birds in a village in Azamgarh district of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, an official said. "Apparently, the Siberian birds had fed on poisoned fish," a spokesman of the state home department said. "Fishes in village ponds sometimes die on account of some poisonous substance which takes its toll on birds or human beings consuming such fishes." Since the victims were found to have been heavily intoxicated, the official did not rule out the possibility of "adverse impact of the country hooch."
