BLAZE AT MEAT PLANT.

A major fire broke out at a meat processing plant and cold store, in Delhi on New Years day and despite 26 fire tenders the factory was completely destroyed.

The fire engulfed three floors of the building at around 5 pm in the afternoon, the meat and fat helped the fire to keep alight and the firefighters had a hopeless task once the meat product ignited.

The premises at 34 Lawrence St, is one of the main cold stores in the city as well as a large meat processing complex
