Interfarm strengthens team with the appointment of a new Business Manager

Barrie Hunt has been appointed Business Manager for Interfarm UK Ltd., the agricultural supply company selling an expanding range of products to distributors throughout the UK.

Barrie has over twenty years experience working in the agrochemical industry throughout the UK and across Europe. Since gaining a BSc (Hons) in Applied Biology from the University of Hertfordshire, he has held a number of increasingly senior commercial, technical and marketing roles with key agrochemical manufacturers and suppliers, including Bayer CropScience and Monsanto.

Prior to joining Interfarm (UK) Ltd, Barrie spent a couple of years gaining an insight into the generic and parallel importation sectors of the agrochemical market, which will be valuable experience in the increasingly competitive UK marketplace.

"I am delighted to be joining Interfarm UK Ltd at this time of expansion. I hope to help grow the business further and also to introduce and develop new products to the market place. As a company Interfarm want to provide high levels of service and a wide range of cost-effective products to customers and I am looking forward to making a positive contribution to our growth," says Barrie.
