Intervet sponsors free range conference

After more than a decade of sponsorship of the BFREPA conference by the major breed companies, this year sees vaccine manufacturer Intervet step into the role.

And plans are already well advanced as organisers aim to build on the success of last year’s event which saw record-breaking attendance. Stoneleigh Park has again been chosen as the venue.

Intervet’s poultry business unit manager Howard Birley commented: “The free range conference is recognised as being one of the most important events in the poultry calendar and we are delighted to have been asked to sponsor it. Intervet has already forged close links with BFREPA in the shape of sponsorship of the Ranger and this was the obvious next step.”

Intervet has retained the services of Carole Arnold to help with the planning. Ms Arnold organised last year’s conference while working for Lohmann GB but is now operating on a freelance basis.

“Carole already knows the ropes and I’m confident her services will ensure smooth running on the day,” said Mr Birley.
