New pork and bacon factory.

Rosderra Meats at Edenderry in the south of Ireland, plan to open a new bacon factory for pigs employing 250 people.

This will be one of the most modern state of the art plants in Europe, according to CEO, Jim Hanley.

The company lost its plant in a fire last year and this was a big blow for the local community.

The plant was recently subject to a management buy out, from the listed company Glanbia Foods.
