NEW DAIRY LEGISLATION.
The government of Israel, have placed a bill before parliament, that will tighten up controls on the dairy industry.
The goals of the new legislation, are to tighten up on health controls and all aspects of the dairy farming and milk processing industry.
The dairy industry is valued at US$665 million per year.
Production volume totaled 1.19 billion liters of milk for last year..
There has been no new legislation in the industry since 1967.
