NEW REGULATIONS ON POULTRY.

The national flock of poultry in Kenya, is around 30 million birds with a market of 1.2 billion eggs per year.

The Ministry of Livestock Development, is preparing a draft of new regulations to govern the poultry meat industry.

A task force was set up last year looking into the industry, the recommendations are being tabled with a motion for new guidelines, to the government.
