Kuhn Farm Machinery has extended its range of rotary tillers with the launch of the EL 92 at Cereals 2003.
Available in 1.8, 2.05 and 2.3 metre working widths, this versatile machine is suitable for tractors up to 95 hp and is aimed at arable farms as well as larger scale horticultural units with demanding cultivation requirements.
Like other models in the established EL range, the EL 92 can operate with "C" blades for good soil penetration and maximum plant residue incorporation or with "L" blades for working at shallower depths. Overall working depth ranges from 5 to 18 cm (2 to 7 inches).
Additional adaptability is provided by an adjustable spring-loaded rear hood, which has a removable and reversible extension. The position of a rear roller is also adjustable by means of pins.
Robust in its construction, the EL 92 rotor is driven by forged steel gearwheels and has a friction slip clutch fitted as standard.
