Land Development Officer to speak to farmers

Llywarch Davies, the newly appointed Glastir Common Land Development Officer for the region, will be guest speaker at the NFU Cymru Meirionnydd County Meeting on Thursday, 3 March 2011.

Held at the Ship Hotel, Dolgellau at 7.30pm, NFU Cymru members are invited to listen to Llywarch Davies speak about his new role of working with existing members of Grazier Associations / Commons Associations and where necessary help to establish new formal groups. He will also outline the issues to be addressed and board management aims of the commoners group. There will also be an opportunity for questions and answers.

Eifion Davies, Meirionnydd NFU Cymru County Chairman said, "We are very grateful to Llywarch Davies for agreeing to come and speak at the meeting. It is a very topical issue for NFU Cymru members in Meirionnydd and I look forward to listening to his address.
