Lawnmower specialists AS-Motor co-operates with PSD

The lawnmower specialist AS-Motor has been cooperating with the distribution specialist Parts Depot UK (PSD) since the end of last year with the aim of increasing its foothold in the UK market. As the requirements are similar to those on the German market, the traditional South Germany company can rely on experience and know-how gained over the past 52 years.

Over the past three years, AS-Motor has been rebuilding its sales network in Great Britain. The successful kick-off was conducted in cooperation with a selling agent and spare parts distributor and the next phase is now being inaugurated by the transition to a larger organisation. Thanks to the support of Parts Depot UK since the end of last year, AS-Motor is now poised to cultivate the market more strongly and intensively.

PSD has established itself as a distribution partner for high quality garden and landscape gardening equipment, guaranteeing customers high quality and first class products. An additional cooperation with the spare parts specialist, "Carters of Swanwick" means that AS-Motor can now cover the entire market. Customers, in turn, are guaranteed a motivated sales team, expert advice, high presentation rate, excellent after sales care and efficient spare parts supplying.

As Christian Dyckerhoff, AS-Motor sales and marketing manager reports, "With PSD as our general importer we have a basis on which to extend our retailer network in the UK and serve it even better. In comparison to the year before, the lawnmower specialist succeeded in increasing its 2010 turnover by more than 70 percent.
