Lithuania to tie minimum wages and pensions with inflation

On Tuesday, Lithuanian parliament rejected the veto of President Valdas Adamkus on a law, which connects the growth the minimum monthly and minimum hourly salary, also social allowances with inflation, aripaev.ee mediates vz.lt.

In order to reject the president's veto, parliament must devote more than half of the votes (at least 71 out of 141).However, the Lithuanian parliament voted three times to get the "wanted" result.
