Livestock chairmen to address NFU members
Two influential livestock board Chairmen will be addressing Glamorgan NFU Cymru members at the Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, 13 November at the Duke of Wellington, Cowbridge.
Starting at 7.30pm, Charles Sercombe, NFU Livestock board Chairman will report back on his recent tour of New Zealand looking at the sheep sector and Lyndon Edwards, NFU Cymru Livestock board Chairman will provide an update on issues facing the Welsh livestock industry. There will also be an opportunity to give nominations for NFU and NFU Cymru officeholder positions, as well as the election of county positions on commodity boards for Glamorgan.
Glamorgan NFU Cymru County Chairman, Andrew Edwards, said, “We are most fortunate to have our two livestock board Chairmen, Charles and Lyndon, coming to speak at the meeting. They will be interested to hear your views and will answer any questions that you may have on the issues being discussed or any other related topics.
“The meeting is open to all members and I do hope we get a good turnout. Please encourage your friends and neighbours to come along.”
