Make a date with Landini at Smithfield 2006
Landini is urging farmers and dealers to put the dates of next year’s Royal Smithfield Show firmly in their New Year diaries – 30th November to 2nd December at the Earl’s Court exhibition centre in London.
The Italian manufacturer is planning some significant product introductions next year and Smithfield will be the ideal opportunity for many farmers, contractors and dealers to get their first look at the newcomers – as well as the rest of the established Landini line-up.
“We’re going to Smithfield because it remains an important show – especially for livestock farmers who want to see the best of British fatstock and take on board the latest technical and market information for their businesses,” says Adrian Winnett, Landini UK sales manager. “The livestock farming sector is especially important to us, so we’re keen to present our Powerfarm and Vision ranges at this showcase event, together with the forthcoming 170-230hp six-cylinder Powermaster line-up, which will take us firmly into the arable sector.”
Landini UK is making good progress since it was formed to take over responsibility of sales and after-sales support in Britain, winning increased sales and more dealers – including the newly appointed outlet in Scotland, Argyll Tractors at Oban.
“In October this year, we secured Landini’s best ever monthly market share and our best year-to-date share,” says Adrian Winnett. “Indications are that this performance was sustained through November – farmers and dealers have noticed that we’ve improved our back-up and improved the products on offer.”
