Man dies in farm accident in Fermanagh
A man in his 40s has died following an incident on a farm in County Fermanagh.
The incident happened on Thursday, and the man died as a result of his injuries in hospital on Saturday.
It is understood the victim was using a tractor on the site.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSENI) is investigating.
"We can confirm we are investigating a fatality at a farm in the Derrylin area," a spokesperson said.
"Our sympathies are with the family at this most difficult time."
Agricultural related fatalities accounts for the largest share of the UK's annual fatality count, according to new figures.
The HSE released its annual figures for work-related fatalities, as well as the number of people known to have died from the asbestos-related cancer, mesothelioma, in 2015.
27 fatal injuries to agricultural workers were recorded.
