MFG organises drop in for Shropshire farmers

Regional law firm MFG Solicitors held a meet and greet drop-in session for Shropshire and Welsh farmers in Oswestry.

The firm joined with financial advisers LEBC and Davis Meade property consultants to stage the event at the Pedigree pub.

MFG’s specialist agricultural team operates a one stop shop for all aspects of agricultural law. Partners and senior lawyers from the division, Sarah Baugh, Tom Devey and Iain Morrison were at the Pedigree along with solicitors Julia Bond (family law), Gary Priest (taxation) and Jonathan Clifford (litigation).

Iain Morrison said: "We work closely with LEBC and Philip Meade, sharing an office in Oswestry, and this event put us all under the same roof for farmers and others in the rural community in Shropshire and Wales."

Farmers were able to get professional advice from experts at LEBC and Philip Meade.

The LEBC Group was established in 2000 and is a national company providing independent financial advice.

Senior Consultant Brian Morrow said: "We have come to understand that, whilst our clients do appreciate all the work we carry out behind the scenes on a day-to-day basis, it is the "quiet conversation" that is the focus of our relationship."

DavisMeade Property Consultants is a firm recently formed out of the demerger of DavisMeade Ltd.

Philip Meade said: "The company focuses now on its main areas of knowledge and experience providing dispute resolution services, property management, valuation and sales advice to the rural property sector, working from our two offices in Oswestry and Mold."
