Midlands firm lands telehandler contract
Staffordshire-based Hall Engineering Ltd have been appointed preferred suppliers of attachments and adaptations by Dieci Telehandlers Ltd, sole UK importers for the leading Italian brand.
The link-up with Hall Engineering supports a drive by Dieci to boost sales of its telescopic handlers in the UK farming market.
’We have supplied brackets and re-handling equipment to fit Dieci telehandlers for a long time, working with our existing dealer network. However the new agreement is a significant move forward for us and we are delighted to be associated with a major industry name like Dieci,’ said managing director Damon Hall.
A spokesman for Dieci Telehandlers Ltd said that the company was looking forward to working alongside Hall Engineering.
’The arrangement will result in a significant increase the range of attachments available for Dieci machines and gives us the facility to supply bespoke fittings for customers who want something different,’ he said.
Hall Engineering, which designs and manufactures a wide range of handling equipment and trailers for farmers and growers, recently made a half-million-pound investment in relocating to a larger manufacturing unit in Leek.
As well as the quality of its products, Hall Engineering is gaining a reputation for quick turn-round times on equipment such as buckets, grabs and re-handling equipment. ’We carry a substantial stock so that we can meet customer requirements in very short lead times, generally beating our competitors’ commented Damon.
